Cardinals Make It To Super Bowl!

WOW.....Im not sure what to say.. The eagles are an incredible team, and they got stompped! I would have never thought the Cardinals would have made it to the Super Bowl!

Here is why I think The Cardinal's will win Super Bowl XLII:

(I'm an ex-pro hockey player...No football knowledge!)

Kurt Warner is "that guy" that can inspire the worst players to be the best. When you have someone like that it is almost impossible to be beat!

Larry Fitzgerald can't seem to be contained. This guy has that ability to work hard and get very lucky. But the harder you work the more lucky plays will come your way.

First Time In Franchaise history....This is a great underdog story, and they will not let thier fans, or their city down!

Now, I know there is nothing that is great that I posted, but as a former pro athlete I know what its like to have a guy like Kurt Warner to help you. And when you represent franchaise history you have this feeling of being 10 feet tall and bullet proof!

So please post your comments!!!!

Cardinals & Steelers In Super Bowl XLII

If you watched both games last night you were on the edge of your seat! The Arizona Cardinals.......where in the heck did they come from! You know I think Kurt Warner is an amazing athlete. This guys may not always be the best, but boy does he know how to lead a team! How about Ben Roethlisberger, this guy is incredible, pressure doesn't bother him, and he is clutch!

Im excited for the superbowl this year. I used to not be a very big football fan, but this year has converted me quite a bit!

Now, lets talk about the Steelers/Ravens game a bit....The hit on Willis McGahee, this poor guy...I was sitting in Gino's East in Chicago after our team won our game (hockey) we were watchin TV and eatin Pizza. The Willis McGahee gets his leg completely re-arranged...A room full of hockey players were grossed out. He comes back, and has an NFL career that is doing very well...Then last night He takes a hit that made me cringe. He plays so hard and boy does he take the brunt of it sometimes. I do hope he recovers and comes back next season.

I have made a few hits (in hockey) where people have left on a stretcher and it is the worst feeling you could ever have.

Sorry this post has no direction...Im just excited to see the Cardinals and the Steelers go head to head in Super Bowl XLII.... I think it is going to be a great game... I have no favorites, but I predict the Cardinals to win!

Don't hate me for that, but thats what I think is going to happen! Warner vs. Roethlisberger....This is going to be quite amazing!

Well this is going to wrap up this post as I have just mumbled on. Please leave a comment of what you thougt about the game last night and your Super Bowl Prediction!

Body Bugg Calorie Counter & Online Weight Loss

The newest weight-loss coach is a mouse-click away, with scores of websites and online newsgroups offering guidance and support to dieters and exercisers.

Some sites are free, offering calorie-counting, nutritional and activity databases to help users keep a grip on just how long they'll need to exercise to burn off the calories they're logging every day. Other sites charge an annual or weekly fee for similar services, along with access to how-to fitness videos and other coaching tools. Some — such as Apex Fitness' popular Bodybugg monitors, heavily marketed through the 24-Hour Fitness club chain — track a user's activities from showering and shopping to a spinning class.

Then there are gaming programs such as Nintendo's Wii Fit, and My Weight Loss Coach. The Wii Fit is a particularly kid-friendly set of hardware — a pressure-sensitive pad that communicates wirelessly with the Wii console — and software activities based on aerobics, strength training and yoga. Do the high-tech programs work better than old school diet-and-exercise regimens? Medical studies suggest that they can — if the participants stick to the program and make behavioral changes in their lives.

A 2006 study of Internet weight loss programs, published in the scientific journal Nature, compared participants in eDiets, a commercial online weight-loss program, with participants in VTrim, a weight-loss program delivered online and led by a therapist.

Griffin Bell Dead at 90

Former U.S. Attorney Griffin Bell, 90, died Monday morning in Atlanta after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Bell, former attorney general of the United States during the Jimmy Carter administration, was a towering figure in the nation’s legal field for decades. As a senior partner with King & Spalding LLP, Bell represented controversial clients such as tobacco firms. The American College of Trial Lawyers even renamed its Committee on Unpopular Causes after Bell.

Bell celebrated his 90th birthday on Oct. 31, a milestone doctors didn’t think he’d reach. He was given two to five months to live nearly six months ago.

“I wouldn’t be disappointed if I died right away, but it’s nice to keep on living,” Bell said in December. “I’m thankful for the extra time I’m getting now.”

In recent months, Bell was touched by warm letters from people he met throughout his life. He’s had two long talks with former President Carter, and although they didn’t always agree, they always liked each other.
