Melissa Berry Suing Ex For Nude Pics

Lingerie Football League rookie linebacker Melissa Berry from the Tampa Breeze is suing her ex-boyfriend for the nude pics he posted on MySpace.com

"She said he should know better because he markets himself as an expert on "healthy relationships" who has studied "success, performance and human behavio for over 25 years."
Dawson said Berry, who used to be a dancer at Thee Dollhouse, willingly posed for the photos and that he "never made anything public.

"This is nothing but an ex-girlfriend trying to cause problems," he said. "For her to say that these pictures were taken against her knowledge is untrue because she is smiling in them. She takes her clothes off for a living and tells people I am doing all this other stuff. What she's doing now is creating a drama because there are pictures out there of her."

You know when a camera comes out and your clothes are off you need to think twice. Love is hard to find, hard to keep, and nude pics on mysapce sure wont help your relationship!

Michael Jackson Lung Transplant

Michael Jackson said to need lung transplant!

It looks like the king of pop might need a lung transplant because of sufferriung from a respiratory condition, according to the author of a new Jackson biography.

It is said the Jackson was diagnosed with Alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, an occasionally fatal genetic condition. Alpha-1-anti-trypsin deficiency is a relatively rare genetic disorder that becomes apparent in young adulthood and early middle age, especially if smoking is added to the equation.

This is pretty sad I feel...Even though ol' Mike has had some troubles in the past he has fueld generations with entertainment for years. I hate to see things like this happen to anyone. I know that he will be getting the best care and hopefully we can see him make a full recovery!

Automaker Bailout - $17.4B to Bailout The Auto Industry

From Yahoo! News

WASHINGTON – Citing danger to the national economy, President Bush approved an emergency bailout of the U.S. auto industry Friday, offering $17.4 billion in rescue loans in exchange for tough concessions from the deeply troubled carmakers and their workers.

Allowing the massive auto industry to collapse in the middle of what is already a severe recession "would worsen a weak job market and exacerbate the financial crisis," Bush said. "It could send our suffering economy into a deeper and longer recession. And it would leave the next president to confront the demise of a major American industry in his first days of office."

President-elect Barack Obama, who takes office a week from Saturday, praised the White House action and said that "the auto companies must not squander this chance." He said they must begin "the long-term restructuring that is absolutely necessary ... while also creating the fuel-efficient cars of tomorrow."

How does all this make you feel? I for one am curious to see how the automakers are going to take companies that have been down for years and turn them around by March....And, if they fail how are they really going to pay al the money back?

I do think that the automakers need help and a bailout is good, but to what lengths are we going to go to help our economy and the people that really need it. I know it is nice to fly in a G5 or go to the most exotic places, but when the average people are taking such a hit I feel that major pay cuts need to be taken higher up first rather than down below....

But that strategy poses another problem. I do know that leaders....good leaders... are hard to come by, so I do feel that the good ones should be getting paid to enhance the company, and help the other employees. But, ones that are croooked and maybe taking to much and not doing enough need a pay cut!

Anyway's, thats just a little rant....The automaker bailout is good, but lets hope it doesnt bite up in the ass!

Goldman Sachs First Ever 4Q Net Loss!

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS) swung to a fiscal fourth-quarter net loss on slumping results at its equities business, the banking giant's first quarterly loss since going public a decade ago.

Goldman and Morgan have become bank holding companies, providing them with access to the federal government's $700 billion rescue plan, allowing them to borrow at the Federal Reserve's discount window and making it easier to get stable sources of funding.

For the period ended Nov. 30, Goldman reported a net loss of $2.12 billion, or $4.97 a share, compared with net income of $3.22 billion, or $7.01 a share, a year earlier. Net revenue was negative $1.58 billion, compared with positive $10.74 billion a year earlier. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected a loss of $3.73 a share on revenue of $932 million.

Analysts had said they expected a big chunk of the government bailout money that large banks received to go toward fourth-quarter write-downs and loss provisions. Goldman Sachs received $10 billion from the government's Troubled Asset Relief Program. Investment-banking revenue slid 48% as financial-advisory revenue dropped 54% amid a decline in industry-wide completed mergers and acquisitions. Goldman said its investment banking transaction backlog fell during the quarter and ended the year "significantly lower" than at the end of 2007.

Revenue plunged to negative $4.36 billion at Goldman's trading and principal investments business, from revenue of $6.93 billion a year earlier. Equities revenue gained 2% as losses in principal strategies failed to offset higher revenue from derivatives.

I feel as though once we are able to get President-Elect Barack Obama in office we will see a smoothing of our economy. I do feel that it will take quite some time to see stability. And remember we need stability before growth. If you plan to invest or buy because of a "good deal" see how smoothly that company has been running and what the trends are. If it is a spike, I strongly disagree with a purchase. In these times it is very necessary to play the field cautiously and wait for stability before selling out, or buying to much.

Land Lobsters on Lord Howe Island?

The world's rarest insect has been returned to its native habitat on Lord Howe Island. The lord howe island stick insect, which grows to 15 centimetres long and is sometimes know as the 'land lobster', was believed to have been wiped out after a supply ship brought rats to the island in 1918.

But in 2001 a tiny population was discovered clinging to the edge of Ball's Pyramid, a rocky outcrop which rises from the sea about 25 kilometres off the island. The insects were bred in captivity at Melbourne Zoo and now the zoo's invertebrate specialist Patrick Honan has brought 20 of them home.

The insects will only be allowed to roam free on Lord Howe Island after the rats have been eradicated. An aerial-baiting program to wipe out the rodents is due to start in 2011.

Mega Millions Has A Winner!!!

ATLANTA — A single winner has taken the $207 million jackpot from the latest drawing of the multistate Mega Millions lottery.

The only ticket to match all the winnings numbers from Friday night's drawing was sold in Piqua, Ohio.

The next Mega Millions drawing will be on Tuesday night with a jackpot of $12 million.

In addition to the grand prize winner on Friday, 23 players won the second prize of $250,000. Another 113 players won the third prize of $10,000.

The winning numbers from Friday night's drawing were: 10, 16, 19, 27 and 48. The Mega Ball number is 25.

Mega Millions Mania!

$207 million............wow...what would you do with your share. I think Christmas would be pretty merry! But lets get more indepth with this "could-be" record breaking mega millions lottery!

The last time the jackpot crossed the $200 million line was in February. A $179 million prize jumped to $220 million, then leapt to $275 million, with a Georgia ironworker holding the only winning ticket.

In August last year, the jackpot grew from $171 million to $206 million, almost the same as tonight's. Then it reached $250 million - $44 million more - before bouncing up $80 million, hitting a whopping $330 million.

$330 million..Could we break it I think it is possible..This is obviously a great opportunity for a luck winner/s. With our economy in shambles, and people being laid off left and right, I just hope this could go to someone who will do good with it and help out families, themselves and many others.

We will find out today if someone was the lucky winner, and if not, see this nuber jump yet again!

Jingle Bell Rock Lyrics!

With only 12 days left to Christmas I wanted to help out my little blog with some great Christmas spirit. One of my favorite songs is Jingle Bell Rock...So, if you wanna sing along here are the lyrics for Jingle Bell Rock!

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air.

What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell,
That's the jingle bell rock.

Relaesed by Bobby Helms in 1957. "Jingle Bell Rock" was written by Jim Boothe and Joe Beal.

New England Ice Storm - Millions Without Power!

The storm brought rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow through Thursday night, and in some areas the miserable mix was continuing Friday. For New Hampshire, the power outages dwarfed those during the infamous Ice Storm of '98, when some residents spent more than a week in the dark.

The governors of Mass. and New Hampshire have declared this as a state of emergency. With just about every school closed kids are obviously loving this, except the ones who are want to use the power that used to supply their homes.

Another interesting piece of info I heard about is that most of the court systems have canceled their hearings.

I live in Texas now, but I used to play pro hockey in New England and the weather up there is no joke! Utilities reported 392,000 homes and businesses without power in New Hampshire, including 300,000 served by the state's largest, Public Service Company of New Hampshire. By contrast, the 1998 storm left 55,000 Public Service customers without power.

This New England Ice storm will for sure go down in history and we still have 9 days until winter even starts. we will see how this winter shapes out for us all! Houston even has had snow already and this happens once every 4 or 5 years.

Barry Sanders Jr. Just As Good s Dad?

Barry Sanders is probably the best running back we may ever see....But, will his son Barry Sanders Jr. out run dad? I can remember as a kid having a picture of a freight train on my wall with barry Sanders running past it....I think his son might just be on the same path.

He is only a Freshman in HS....and check out this video of his amazing touchdown run!

It is going to be exciting to see if he follow the same footsteps as dad..He is going to have to lose a shoe like dad did and run it in to rank up there...But for only being a freshman Barry Sanders Jr. can move no doubt!!!
